Locally Sourced West Sussex and Beyond – Supporting Independent Business

Great Food and Drink Sourced from Local Independent Suppliers

We have had some great feedback from customers about the quality of our food and hot drinks. We are really excited by such positive comments as it justifies our commitment to supporting local and small independent businesses. We are a local family business and wanted to engage with similar enterprises

Several customers have said that the coffee is great. Did you know that it is our own unique Tree House blend sourced from Lindfield Coffee Works? We would like to say a very big thank you to Kris and Jules for their support in developing the product and their patience when training the team to become baristas.

Have you had one of our sandwiches yet? If not, you are missing out on the taste of great bread products supplied by Mel at Fellows the Bakery, Ardingly.

It was our decision from day one to source as much of our food as possible from local suppliers and Lois Simpson of the Baggy Pantry in Ardingly fits that particular requirement perfectly.  Have you tried her delicious lemon drizzle cake, banana chocolate and walnut cake, gluten free brownies and earl grey shortbread?  Coming soon to the Tree House will be Baggy Pantry oat and raisin biscuits, gluten free vanilla cupcakes and delicious flapjacks.

We live in Handcross and have been using the village butchers since we moved there several years ago. When deciding where to source our meat products it was never going to be in doubt that we would use their services. Thanks to Steve and his team at Handcross Butchers for their help and support.

Have you tried our amazing teas supplied by Helen at MDTea in Brighton?  These beautiful teas and exciting infusions are all ethically sourced and absolutely delicious. We are stocking a range of their products so why not ask one of the team about them the next time you visit the Tree House.

Finally, if you haven’t tried our hot chocolate you are missing out on a real treat!  Although not a local business (Melbourne isn’t really that close!!) Mork is an independent business and have a base in the South East.  What is important to us is we have chosen to source the chocolate from a company that is as passionate about their product as we are about our drinks menu.
